Birthday Party

We had a little party for Desiree/Ben today.

We woke up and finished cleaning the house a bit and then went to Toys R Us and bought the bday presents for the kids and then went to Walmart for lunch at the McDonalds and then Safeway to get the cake (we surprisingly saw BIG Ben at both these places) and then went home and wrapped the presents. Christina, Nick and Desiree came over about three thirty and Mom came over just a few minutes before that, and we let the kids play for a little bit and then sang happy birthday and let them open their presents and then ate cake and icecream...gonna put some pictures up I hope;)

needless to say, they had a blast!

Tarylyn,

Aunt Hila wanted to post this, but you have it set where anonymous people can't post comments. So, she asked me to post it for her:

Found your blog through Nilla's. Usually I'm not a blog stalker, but I just happened to notice her list of blogs over on the right side of her blog page.

Congrats on going to the Temple! That is awesome! One thought: K and S were raised in the very same house (mine) and were taught the very same things. When K first went to the Temple, she was much like me...felt like it was "like coming home". S had a much harder time, she thought that things were odd. She had to keep going back before her testimony of the Temple started to grow. Go to the Temple as often as you can. You really start to "learn" about the endowment when you start to do endowments for others who have passed through the veil.

I LOVE seeing the pictures of the kids. They are beautiful. A person could grow really old waiting on my sister to post pictures! LOL

Love, Aunt H.

And yes, Aunt Hila... Waiting on my mom to send out pictures from her camera is an exercise in futility! I'm sure she has a treasure trove of them through which I will have to sort when I get there!
